Multi-Function Knob (MFK) Selections

Selects the Primary and Secondary functions assigned to the Multi-Function Knob (MFK). DotGreen.png It is also possible to program the MFK as a single-function Volume control knob (see the Warning). These selections apply to Conventional and Trunking communications mode.

You must select Volume Select as the Primary function and Blank as the Secondary function in order to be considered valid.

These selections are model / option dependent on a per radio basis, and apply to Conventional and Trunking communications modes.

Switch Selections:

DotRed.png Selections are Available to the RADIO-USER:

Blank

(Intended for functions that are not in use.)

DotRed.png "Blank" is not a valid selection for the Primary function.

DotRed.png "Blank" is only valid as the Secondary function when Volume Select is selected as the Primary function.

Zone Select

When selected, always available to the radio-user, and  therefore not dependent on any CPS feature or selection.

Channel Select

When selected, always available to the radio-user, and  therefore not dependent on any CPS feature or selection.

Volume Select

When selected, always available to the radio-user, and  therefore not dependent on any CPS feature or selection.
